This cottage was originally part of the huge barn that is currently used as a Badminton Court. It was converted to a cottage in the late 60's for use by the parents of the owners at the time. In the war the house and farm were requisitioned by the War Office and local people remember the officers around and the parties and plays that were held here, in the Badminton court.
